KhanЪ fuses Bulgarian folklore and modern metal into explosive live shows in the self-proclaimed style of
“folkcore”.
The band traces it’s humble beginnings to а garage in Sofia around 2009 when high-school friends set out to use
folklore instruments like tambura and gaida in metal context, but featuring the characteristic odd-time signatures, phrasing and tonality of the Balkan folklore.
